ON ARRIVE IN TANZANIA
Transfer from the hotel to the hotel. A guide will meet you at the hotel for briefing at least an hour after you arrive. The guide will leave and let you rest and relax the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight at The Bay Leaf Hotel or a hotel with similar status.

DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After a breakfast, we will drive through the city and cut through villages and arid un inhabited regions occasionally used for grazing domesticated animals and travel for approximately 2 hours to the park. A river flowing from Kondoa highlands traverse the park and feed into lakes and marsh lands giving permanent sources of water for wild flora and fauna to flourish. Animals will travel from other regions to this park at drought seasons in quest of green pasture. The Tarangire National Park is considered as one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. Depart the park early evening and travel to Karatu town and to Marera Lodge where you will have dinner and overnight rest.

DAY 2: KARATU – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we shall begin to travel through the town and the high lands of Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is the largest Park in Tanzania named for its large plains by the local Maasai people. The endless plains are speckled with magnificent large rocks known as kopjes where predators like lions have found them as good place to stay. You can consider calling the pride rocks but also reptiles as agama lizards find them a good place to establish territories. The Southern plains are famously known for having rich phosphorous grasses vital for calving wildebeests, zebras, and some gazelles that will have some annual expedition in quest for greener pasture each year and come back at this plain to give birth and calving. Bovids, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, cheetah and other animals have being exploring these plains too in diverse number. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. We will travel through this park in game viewing and photographic tours only breaking for lunch breaks to the central part of the park.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION
After an early breakfast, we will begin from the central part of the park on our way out enjoying wildlife in action blatantly. On our way out we can choose to visit a Maasai boma for some cultural tour at Ngorongoro Conservation Area or visit a pre-historic site with an early mans scull preserved at Olduvai Gorge. You will be staying at the lodge located on the rim of Ngorongoro crater.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA
After breakfast you will descend the crater 600m down the crater for game viewing. The Caldera is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – to spotted hyenas, rare warthogs, and some 500 species of birds. We will drive through these wild flora and fauna and cut through herds, packs, troops, prides and flocks to lunch break and proceed in the evenings on our way out of the park. Begin our drive to Arusha at evening for dinner and overnight rest.
