African traditional dance and music experience

Our village is blessed by having a couple of very high class performing art groups in Tanzania. Those interested with African dance and music; this is definitely a place to be!

Let the energetic Meru traditional dancers and musicians give you an insight into their culture by their captivating songs and dances. You can watch, experience and even participate in a variety of dances symbolising various occasions and traditional events such as traditional marriage and bride-price giving ceremonies at home.

There is a classic Cultural Arts Centre that organizes regular performances for different tribal dances of Northern Tanzania. When on a visit in our village we can arrange a 30 minutes to an hour performance for you at a very reasonable price. This will be an ideal combination just after your cultural activities in the village.

For the visitors who overnight in the village, the evening time is a good time to enjoy the dance with a cup of tea/coffee/local wine
