Day trip excusion to Kilimanjaro Mountain 

After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and we drive to Moshi for a day trip excursion at Kilimanjaro Mountain.

While at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, you will be taken to apoint where you will have a good view ot the mountain. You will then have a walking tour to Marangu waterfalls i.e Ndoro waterfalls or Kilasia waterfalls. You will also have a chance to visit historical sites of clan wars and ancient legends including caves used for hiding during the Chagga – Maasai wars, etc.
Late afternoon we will drive back to Arusha

Kilimanjaro: A Day Trip To Mandara 

This amazing trip will take you to Mandara hut and Maundi Crater.

Distance: 8.5km to Mandara and Maundi Crater and 8.5 to Marangu gate

Time: 9 hours

Zone: Montane Forest and heather lands

We will pick you early after breakfast at your hotel and drive to marangu gate where we will sign up for the day trip. we will then begin and walk through the forest zone highly populated with endemic and rare species of wild animals and plants. Animals here are timid only coming out to forage when it is silent and no weird things moving around. At least the inqusitive blue monkeys foraging along the road will be brave enough not to care as we pass through their little paradise. Mushrooms, moss, sedges, ferns, shrubs and trees create a stunning beauty. At times when flowers bloom you could experience what could only be described as Eden or at least where birds as turacos and hornbills a happy. 

We will have lunch break at Mandara. Black and white colobus monkey forage around this campsite. Other times wildpigs, francolins and gazelles would come out to feed openly but it is rare. We will then begin to Maundi crater where we will have sometime observing the beautiful landscape and rocks then begin our descent to the gate in the early evening. Our driver will be waiting for us at the gate where we shall sign out and drive back to the hotel where we will conclude of journey.  

COST PER PAX 300$ including overnight stay in nearby hotels in Marangu, Transport to and from Arusha, lunch box, Guiding fee, Park fees, vocha, facilitation fee.
