On arrival

Transfer fro Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha town at Masailand hotel. Our driver guide will meet with you at the hotel for briefing shortly after arrival and let you rest and relax the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight at Masailand hotel.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Distance 110.33 KM

Travel time 1:40 hours

Your driver guide will meet you at the hotel after breakfast and depart for Tarangire National Park. A drive to this Park is through a tarmac road that cuts through Arusha town, farm lands, arid zones occasionally used for grazing, and villages. We will be breaking occasionally for shopping and cultural tour in a couple of maasai bomas but atleast at mid morning we will be signing up at Tarangire National Park. Begin game driving at the park to lunch break through designated trails. Lunch at a picnic site with proper waste management and latrines for calls. Proceed with game driving till evening where we will sign out and depart for a campsite for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park

Distance 242 KM

Travel time 4 hours

Begin the journey after breakfast to Serengeti National Park. This day’s drive will take us through villages, farm lands, arid zones, Karatu local town and the Highlands of Ngorongoro, We will be breaking occasionally for photos, viewpoints and lunch through lunch boxes. It is a journey that takes us to the heart of wild Africa. We will descend from the High lands of Ngorongoro to the endless plains of Serengeti where we shall have all the beauty to ourselves. Signing up at the Southern Gate and proceed game driving from the Southern plains. We shall be cutting through a region where wildebeests will come each year after their annual expedition to give birth and atleast rise their kids a while till they aquire the basic instincts. Predators and scavagers of every skills lurk in this area to take advantage of these young ones or any premature death. Dinner and overnight at Tumbili Public Campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Distance 147 KM

Travel time 1: 30 hours

Early breakfast and begin game draving on our way South East towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch break and after lunch decide whether to visit a Maasai village or stop at Oldivai Museum a place that connects us with our prehistory. Olduvai Museum has preserved skulls for an early man. Evening break at Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha town

Distance 181.21 KM

Travel time 3 hours

Descend to the Crater floor after breakfast for a half day game drive. This crater is about 600m deep with a diameter of 20 KM wide. There is a permanent supply of water through springs and rivers that feed into lakes at the crater floor. This water bodies have ensured that the area has flourished with good pasture for the grazers. We will cut through this crater floor game driving in designated routes passing through troops, herds, packs and prides of wild animals at their normal ways of life. Lunch break at a designated picnic site and proceed game driving on our way out. Early evening journey to Arusha town for dinner and overnight.
